Alex Young.
Alex began Favourite Positions in 2022 after her own frustrating experiences with career advice, ageism and gender bias. The podcast became a way to hear from people building better working lives.
As Director at Projects, she works with organisations across Brighton's coworking community. She is an Imperial College London MBA student and founder of the Project Your Future mentoring programme.
Positions is the next chapter: moving from individual career stories to the wider developments shaping how we all work.

Credibility isn't
a shortcut.
We check sources, represent findings fairly and make clear what is evidence, what is opinion and what remains uncertain.
Positions engages with existing journalism and published research rather than conducting original academic studies. Alex's earlier MBA work remains in the research archive.
